I would recomend you lite a single motor on the ground, one powerful enough to achieve a safe flight, then airstart the pair. This would be safety issue.
I'd strongly advise against relying on the airstarted motor's ejection charge for deployed because there is no guarenty it's going to start; use an altimeter for recovery deployment. Again, this is a safety concern.
@RocketMan7150 thanks i have greatly changed my design. this is my first project. it won't have any airstarts now but it will be a two stage G64 to a G79
I am planning on building a cluster staged rocket and i want to see if you think this will work. I am gonna build a 5 pound rocket and do you think starting two G79 motors and take out the ejection charge of those then airstarting a F20, F23 or a G77. I am gonna use onboard electronics to airstart the motor and may throw in a altimeter. It will be made of 12, 29mm tubes and will be 5 feet tall. Do you have any adivice for me or what motor to airstart. I would really lke advice Thanks!!
Superb!!!
The flight video really shows how straight the flight was compared to the ground video.

Excellent flight. That was a cluster on a cert. flight? Ballsy.

A cluster, but not a cert as clusters are not permitted for certs.
