The mother and her father was bombed in the war and died ...

They manage to get on boat and went on for 6 weeks until they were picked by US Navy. Then my mom and dad flew into San Jose, CA and they had to wait for 6 months just to get a citizenship.
While my parents were away, my dad's grandfather, a former ARVN officer, was still imprisoned after the 1975 communist take-over.

@highschoolmusical841 2)when greeks were teaching philosophy the rest of the world were hanging from trees;)for your info,galilei discovered that the earths shape is a cyrcle?this is what you ve been taught?well its wrong at 400 b.c. im not sure the greek mathematician Thalis discovered only with a triangle that the earths shape is cyrcle,thats an example of the heritage of Greece to the world

Just to clarify, we were taught that Galileo proved the Earth rotated around the Sun not that he proved the Earth was a sphere.

@highschoolmusical841 i really dont understand what you mean with your last sentence,but yes we attacked cretois,but no we hadnt taken their systems cause greeks stayed in the main land of Greece,Peloponissosm etc..are you french?cause cretois is french word.anyway if someone used their systems was the people who migrated to Crete due to the big population of Greece,the rest of the greeks had made systems of themselves.all in all,the whole world owes to us,we made the word civilazation
