both american media and russian media are bound to distort this somewhat, im neither russian or american but in my experience russians tend to take more caution about what they beleive in the news, so the news companies themselves cant really gloss over things or distort facts as much as some american news shows, for example fox news. whereas alot of americans trust the news.

I dislike FOX News but I also do not agree with this families idea of what is going on. I feel very bad for the Citizens of South Ossetia. It is very hard to know exactly what the truth is. I think all sides are twisting the truth. But who really knows what is truth anymore? I am sure they are sincere in their beliefs but I just do not agree with the cleansing part.

One has to admit that the aunt should have kept her mouth shut and let the girl make the point. The lady was way over the top. The girl, however, got her point across just fine. But the woman just kept rubbing it in and in the the most over-the-top manner imaginable. No wonder they took them off the air. The lady took it too far - even her daughter looked kind of embarassed. Some things should be left to children - particularly emotional appeal.
