I remember Dobson in the 80's. He focused more on the psychological/spiritual issues of the human condition in relation to enhancing the family unit. As a christian broadcaster, he was cut above the bs televangelist crap at that time. I lost touch with his program throughout the 90's and was appalled to see how political he'd become in the new millennium. His right wing crap really got under my skin and after he advocated for the Bush administration, I wrote him off. Glad he's been pulled out.
