This is definetly a top 5 song, perhaps even #1....depends how one looks at it. First time for this song & band...I'm interested in how they covered "Alley Oop", whch of coarse was a #1 classic here in Vancouver Cda back in the late fiftiesby a band called the Hollywood Argyles. Thx4 postin'.

I have been collecting records for many years and have the very much sought after Dante and the Evergreens LP. I am almost 65 years old so i was right there when rock and roll started. Who the f.... are the Beach Boys??? Dante's version is the original and no cover ever comes close to an original tune.

i disagree dennis wilson does the version spot on. therefore i like the bb version better but i'm so glad that i finally got to hear the original. thanks for posting this one, now if i could only her the original version of i'm so young by the students.
