I also have an r34 gtt auto and these figures are about right. The Stock r34 gtt runs 5psi boost in 1st and 7psi for the rest. Also for the guys talking about gear changes, the 1st to 2nd happens at at 80kph.
As a comparison, I de-restricted the boost and ran my car at 10psi and the results are fantastic.
0 to 100 5.8sec 0 to 180 17sec.

a few people are dissing the auto, but reality is that the new supercars (like the new GTR) are all coming in trip-tronic. there getting good results from these gearboxes, and i own a r34 with trip-tronic auto, and there are really more benefits and negetives over the manual gear-box.
far out the people commenting are so thick. i have a JDM RX7 FD that also features the km/h speedo up to 180km/h. as do all official imports in aus. retards. and as for the time, its slow, but its clearly a GTT Auto and not 'expected' to be much quicker than 6.x to 100. a GTR does it in 4.6-4.8. My FD RX7 does it in 4.7 (stock twin turbo series 8). The point is, it is what it is, stop carrying on like morons. GTRs did come in auto, in the stagea, limited RB26DETT release.

@milesK12 Your car was either un-tuned and restricted as stock from Japan can arrive in other countries or it had a fault with it. My car would do 0 - 100 MPH in around 7secs 0 - 60 MPH in about 4secs.

Look at the video "R34 GTT" the one with the same dials, this guy has his car setup correctly in MPH. However the car in this video is not setup correctly the dial is wrong for this car in a country that uses KMH - FACT!

they come as STANDARD as in from factory..as in from the Nissan Workshop with 180km/h speedo and speed limit. Thats how japanese cars are made. Dont ask me why, they just are, they are imported in AUS as is. Unless the buyer particularly asks for other.

The mods on this car are pointless if it's restricted and if it's not then he should have a 300KPH dial installed eitherway this is a very bad skyline if it's an Aus Skyline and these things have not been done.
Aftermarket ECU needed to remove top speed limiter. Also aftermarket dials are installed to depict speed. Recalibration of speed sensor is needed to correct this.

Im not sayin the car is limited to 180km/h. Im saying the standard dials fitted to ALL jap cars only allow them to go to 180km/h. Aftermarket ECU's are needed to remove top speed limiter and aftermarket or Nismo dials are needed to depict true speeds over 180km/h. Recalibration of dials are also needed for the movement of speed needle!
Actually I stated that something was wrong with odo meter and why does it have a limited odo meter if I said they are I was refering to the cars in the UK.
Anyway this dial could be on any car all I see is a Greddy steering wheel and there are a lot of other video's on here 1 could question, I haven't actually seen any Skyline??? What's to say this dial hasn't been fitted to a Nissan Sunny??? Pictures especially ones that don't actually show the car can be very mis-leading.
One other thing just because the speedometer reads 180mph doesn't mean anything that's just the standard dials they fit when they import the car into the UK.
It's MPH mate they haven't changed the centre piece on the dial of this skyline for some reason if it was KPH 180 would convert to approx 120mph. I don't think in fact I know a skyline even in japan is not limited to 120mph why fit such a limited dial (Think About It!). If it was in KPH it would be reading something like 0-280 and they do fit them when they import them into the UK they have to by law we don't use KPH over here.
Go calculate it by turning 180KPH into MPH if you don't believe me. Anyway this video IMO doesn't do any favours for the GT-T the ODO meter IS WRONG for a start and if this GT-T was next to mine it would get wiped out and people who dis autos usually dis them because they don't get along with them and don't understand them.
@xxBlackpspxx For a start the ODO meter is in MPH not KPH you cretin. Secondly I own a heavily modified Tip-Tronic R34 GT-T and know exactly how to boost it to 100mph in about 6 seconds dipping the throttle for a second cuts off the turbo bang on when the gear changes and allows it to refresh for the next gear holding it down will just spool the turbo up then when it shifts you will lose a few seconds of boost due to massive lag as the turbo refreshes itself.
One otherthing it sounds like this car either had a turbo problem or the boost is set really low on it cos when the turbo on mine spools it sounds like a jet plane taking off as in you can really hear besides the engine revs but on this I can hardly hear the turbo spooling at all, all I can hear is exhaust noise. I reckon this either had a turbo problem or the boost was set too low.
@xxBlackpspxx no i don't think there is... i live in holland and only can find right steered skyline's... but you can get them converted to left--hand steering... but it's at a price
lol learn to drive an auto, your surpose to dip the accelerator slightly to make it change gear sooner and give the turbo time to re-spool, You have to realise that when the gear changes the ECU doesn't drop the revs on an auto enough to allow the turbo to re-spool freshly for the next gear on a manual the ecu drops off as you drop the clutch on auto you need to dip the acc pedal hold it steady for a second then release and the turbo will drop back in.

-180km/h is standard dials also speed limit for ALL jap cars.

Close analysis shows that 0 to 80 is 4sec and there is a massive loss in the gear shift approx 0.7 sec
The launch I used for my run was very modest, I got my wheels just on the edge of traction 2.5krpm.
I think I would do better if I did a decent tyre warm-up and a high rpm launch say 4.5k

Look at the video "R34 GTT" the one with the same dials, this guy has his car setup correctly in MPH. However the car in this video is not setup correctly the dial is wrong for this car in a country that uses KMH - FACT!

the dials are correct in AUS and in JAP.
They use km/h.
STANDARD dials go to 180km/h on ALL jap cars.
speed limiter on ECU only allows 180km/h top speed.
Aftermarket ECU's or RE-TUNE allows to go over, but aftermarket dials are needed to predict speed levels. FACT

they come as STANDARD as in from factory..as in from the Nissan Workshop with 180km/h speedo and speed limit. Thats how japanese cars are made. Dont ask me why, they just are, they are imported in AUS as is. Unless the buyer particularly asks for other.

Actually mate if you read my post carefully I stated that it was either the wrong dial for the car, it should be in MPH or this is not a GT-T. What your basically saying here is that it's right for the car to go off the dial when you do more than 111mph/180kmh which this more than capable of doing. The arguement here is that you think the dials in this skyline are in miles which they are clearly not.
Gear ratio's are correct for each gear speed limit for a tiptronic. Also 7sec 0-100km/h is correct for the amount of mods on this car in the info.

The mods on this car are pointless if it's restricted and if it's not then he should have a 300KPH dial installed eitherway this is a very bad skyline if it's an Aus Skyline and these things have not been done.

NO Standard Grey Import Car ie; Skyline, RX-7 HAVE 300KM/H dials. From the factory they all have 180km/h.

Anyway this dial could be on any car all I see is a Greddy steering wheel and there are a lot of other video's on here 1 could question, I haven't actually seen any Skyline??? What's to say this dial hasn't been fitted to a Nissan Sunny??? Pictures especially ones that don't actually show the car can be very mis-leading.

It's MPH mate they haven't changed the centre piece on the dial of this skyline for some reason if it was KPH 180 would convert to approx 120mph. I don't think in fact I know a skyline even in japan is not limited to 120mph why fit such a limited dial (Think About It!). If it was in KPH it would be reading something like 0-280 and they do fit them when they import them into the UK they have to by law we don't use KPH over here.

Go calculate it by turning 180KPH into MPH if you don't believe me. Anyway this video IMO doesn't do any favours for the GT-T the ODO meter IS WRONG for a start and if this GT-T was next to mine it would get wiped out and people who dis autos usually dis them because they don't get along with them and don't understand them.

@xxBlackpspxx For a start the ODO meter is in MPH not KPH you cretin. Secondly I own a heavily modified Tip-Tronic R34 GT-T and know exactly how to boost it to 100mph in about 6 seconds dipping the throttle for a second cuts off the turbo bang on when the gear changes and allows it to refresh for the next gear holding it down will just spool the turbo up then when it shifts you will lose a few seconds of boost due to massive lag as the turbo refreshes itself.

One otherthing it sounds like this car either had a turbo problem or the boost is set really low on it cos when the turbo on mine spools it sounds like a jet plane taking off as in you can really hear besides the engine revs but on this I can hardly hear the turbo spooling at all, all I can hear is exhaust noise. I reckon this either had a turbo problem or the boost was set too low.

lol learn to drive an auto, your surpose to dip the accelerator slightly to make it change gear sooner and give the turbo time to re-spool, You have to realise that when the gear changes the ECU doesn't drop the revs on an auto enough to allow the turbo to re-spool freshly for the next gear on a manual the ecu drops off as you drop the clutch on auto you need to dip the acc pedal hold it steady for a second then release and the turbo will drop back in.

Cos KMH is wrong this car can go way over 111MPH/180KPH, if this was in KMH it just wouldn't be the correct dial for this type of car I know cos I own the same car with the same dials only difference is the center piece on mine reads m/h cos the k is scrubbed off 180mph makes sense yes. It's time now not to post any more messages to you on this subject cos if you can't work it out and come to your own conclusions then that's not really my problem.

-its 180km/h why? because 1st gear speed limit for a GTT is 62km/h AS SHOWN...2nd gear speed limit is 102km/h AS SHOWN!
-ODO is right..its in TRIP A setting..ALSO AS SHOWN...TRIP A and TRIP B are used for travelling purposes to record trip distances hence the word TRIP..it is not a reading for TOTAL K's
-180km/h is standard dials also speed limit for ALL jap cars.
oh and by the way.
i'm a mechanic...work on various cars and very particular with RB and SR engines
