I've seen a making of, throughout the show, the screen goes up and down in front of them. For example a transition would be made during Pinion and the screen would be brought down or put in front of them (I can't remember whether they used the screen for this song) for Wish.
The best part of being at this show was the morbidly obese tool fan with the white contact lenses, you know who you are. That kid hates his parents.

They played behind a mesh screen. If it was complete activated, they were obscured, but bits were off, you could see through it.
As incredible as it is, I don't think I'd want to have a screen between me and the band, however spectacular it is.
