@xpokemonrulezsisterx What if you weren't an idiot? If I WAS a hamster, though, I would lack the capacity for sentient thought and would therefore be unable to contemplate any situation in which I could find myself. Furthermore, I would probably not even be self-aware anyway.

Not very historically accurate; hamsters aren't native to the New World. Next Thanksgiving, if your cat wants to eat a rodent, make it go hunt down a beaver.
I kinda doubt the hamster "LOVED" it. And though this isn't really animal cruelty, you really do have to think about the "what if" factor: This could've turned out badly in a number of ways that would've been animal cruelty.
We did think about the 'what if' factor. The biggest risk was a 5" fall onto the carpet. The train is a simple, slow toy train; with the supervision of two adults, it was pretty safe.
I can tell you are concerned, however; have you had a hamster yourself? Does your hamster eat when it is scared? Ours did not, which, when she was eating while on the train, made a strong indication that she was not concerned at all.
Genius, as are all Metageek productions, but I found it lacked some of the disorienting power that first made Metageek famous in "Ms. Brownie and the Weeble Wobbles".
Mr. Metageek's masterful direction pulled the best performance from Ms. Brownie to date. I really *felt* the confusion of her character, and followed with interest her development from a passive rider into a modern go-getter hamster, ready to take her first steps in the world outside her cage.

The hamster loved it. The second time we did this, she happily ate her carrot, unconcerned. If she'd been in a panic, she wouldn't be eating.
