@xFazeTwox You either build with everything as Intel, or everything as AMD. AMD is just significantly cheaper for a minor decrease in performance.

@knudronau Right, unless you already have a copy of Windows to use. Keep in mind there are two types of Windows discs: Upgrade and Full Install. You'll need the Full Version unless you have a previous copy of windows you can put on first. Or you can install Linux for free =)

is that motherboard good because its one of the cheaper ones and if it works good its a steal for that price (i have been researching for my computer).

@AvoGaDroGaming It's a great motherboard, but it's not necessarily a gaming motherboard.One huge plus is that it comes with overclocking software if you're into that kind of thing =) plus it can handle 16GB of DDR3 RAM, who can argue with that?

@AvoGaDroGaming Intel vs AMD is like Mac vs PC. With Intel, all you're paying for is the name... It's not like Intel is significantly better than AMD.

@ChChCheckItsClan Intel lasts on average about 2-3 years longer than AMD will, but with AMD you are going to get it for a cheaper price, and also all AMD chipsets are unlocked so you can overclock them very easily.

@DerickMahoney Yeah lately I've noticed that AMD products actually come with overclocking software, which is pretty awesome. The only thing is that I don't know if I'm comfortable with overclocking my computer. Don't want to accidentally burn it up =/ and from what I've read, Intel is a better product to some degree. But heck, in 2-3 years it'll be upgrade time again anyway =)
