The poor trash!! don't have a chance with the compactor. Too bad its not a rear loader, i think they crunch the re-fuse better. Its like you have to pull the handle 4 time just to compact this little bit of trash with the front loader.

Hi Eric did you notice the cardboard box at 50 seconds it said responsibility i was thinking yeah somebody needs to take resposibility for a recycling program.We burn and you bury the trash both of our towns need to come in to the lite and start recycling.They say soon as the city council gets us sone of thos plastic boxes to sit at the curb we will start it up when we do i am going to show it.Oh i got a new video and 2007 vid with 15,000 plus views wow..

i like yur mack LE better than 734 (although she will be missed) but also because i like the mack LE far better as a chassis option than the pete 320 because where i live ive never actually seen a pete 320 in person only mack LE's and MR's in my area when i saw you were getting a mack LE terrapro i was like SWEET NEW TRUCK!! but also yur truck has a way different engine than ours around here when the mack le's and the mr's sound basically the same

I am happy with this Mack for the most part(743), the only thing that I really miss about the Pete 320(734) is that it was a smoother ride, the Mack cab is much more bouncy. Otherwise the Mack performs very well.

Is you 743 made from Mack or McNeilus company?

I alway confuse, because at fron of your truck it write "Mack" and the body it write "McNeilus".

Its made by both companies. The cab, engine and frame (chassis) is made by Mack.

The body, hydraulics and all that stuff is made by Mcneilus.

M ack makes the truck, then it is sent to the Mcneilus factory and they install the body.

Seems like Wichita can start offering smaller trash cans looking at some of the material contained in the carts, not as much room needed anymore. Just a quick question; do you find MSLs pack much in after the body is filled before the blade starts to stall, or does the blade start to stall shortly after the body gets filled up? = if what I said makes any sense... ? :)

Actually they do pack quite a bit in the body after the space is full. It really doesnt take as much as you might think to fill up the truck, and once its 1/2 to 3/4 full thats when the real compaction starts.

I've got up and looked into the small little "windows" at the top of the hopper a number of times, and usually after the space is mostly filled you still have room for hundreds more stops (unless they are extra heavy stops)

yea i work a recyclable pant we throwaway more juck we use the hped yorr pets as in 1and 2 so 5-7-4-3 are trash and i will try to get more video

dam man this is crazy. All that recycling to waste!! Hope this doesn't go straight to the landfill. where i live the trash is taken to the transfer and recyclable waste is separated from the garbage.

transfer is the bulding where all the local garbage trucks go to tip their waste and is pretty much a dropping point because usually most landfills are far from the city.

At the landfill the waste are either sorted out or dumped there for a while then the big semi trailer comes and trucks the trash out to the landfills.

Great job on the vid! I like how you showed the carts on the tipper and then the hopper as they were being dumped.

That dust at 9:28... that's one of the reasons I liked ASL. At least it isn't blowing in your face.... that stuff always made me a little nervous, cuz you never know if it's just dirt and dust or if there's harmful stuff is mixed in. I can only wonder how many people out there toss out things like old asbestos insulation with the regular garbage.
