I think the warm places allowed people to develope, spiritually, and actually forced them to feel more relaxed (if being angry makes you sweat, you are inclined to want to stay "cool").
But in cold climates, it can be a struggle for survival. This is when the beast comes out of men, as their only way to stay alive.
In the 2-3 hot months of the UK, we like to be calm, and smile, and talk.
The rest of the time, peopel hurry and scurry, and we dont develop, spiritually.
