There's an interesting article in the September 27, 2009 New York Times Magazine ( The School Issue ) about MIDDLE SCHOOLERS coming out of the closet and the support groups and issues they are facing as younger adolescents. You should read up on it. Seems to me you'd be well positioned to be a mentor for some of these kids and their parents.
