Pardon me for being a troll, but this is the worst kind of video promotion for a product. The product isn't even shown until nearly halfway through the video and the only thing we learn about it is that "It's kinda cool!"? There's more screen time devoted to them walking in a straight line at the end than to the product. Why do I want to spend $40-$65 on this app when Google Nav is free? Based on this video I'll never know, so I'll never buy it.
if you tired or sleepy, you might think it' a real car (on navagation gps) in front of you and slam on the brake! and some1 behind you hits you in the rear! very dangerous to slam on brake in freeway!
@LanteanKnight : we keep looking into this, although initial test users have told us they liked the Follow Me car better, because it's so realistic.
A main advantage of augmented reality navigation is that the information displayed during navigation is matching the actual reality much closer than a traditional map view does. This makes it easier for the brain to absorb the information.
But you'll be able to chose the Follow Me car, so you don't have to stick to the BMW ;-)
And what has this to do with Route 66?
