"To Catch a killer" was the best story about Gacy. It starred Brian Denehey as Gacy. He played the role brilliantly. It was, I think, a 6 hour film (broadcast on TV as a "mini series.") Be careful, if you get the DVD version of this, as it's chopped down to 2 hours.

I think people make movies like this not to make money off real tragedies, but to give people like me and a lot of others who are facinated with serial killers a movie they can really get into. The people who make these movies are facinated with these killers too, do loads of research on them and reenact the once phenomenal events. I hate how every serial killer movie is the same (even ones based on REAL murderers) and the writers never capture the actual personality of the serial killer.
