I don't get it. You played 12-18hours a day. that is a TRUE waste of your life. Most people play 2-4 hours a day if they are "addicted". That is manageable with other things and a social life. Just because you went to extremes doesn't mean others can't still have fun on the game and play only a decent amount a day. I've quit myself. Mostly due to botters. Fuck bots. Well i play rs in my spare time now. I am f2p and i play maybe like 1 hour or less a day. I have more spare time in summer because I cant find a job. Right now I just got my license and I been driving. So I dont think i will quit runescape anytime soon but I dont play as much as I used to.

for me runescape was escaping from reality ive been playing 6 years for 4 years it was to escape the bullying now a days it's more of a thing i do to talk to people in the game who i met during those years and i pk and that's pretty much it for me it's like other people playing cod it's for fun but it does get in the way of my studies but once it hits you that it is bad you stop and it's incredible

Worthless rant. I'm sorry Baal, of course addicition to anything in high quantities is a bad thing. But if the person behind the computer isn't prioritizing important aspects of their life before Runescape; ONLY the person can be blamed.

If someone in your shoes, with your account had achieved what you have in 14 years of gradual, relaxed playing - I'm talking 4 hours a week or something like that, maybe five or six - That's less than 1 hour a day

I've logged about 380 days in my 8 years of RS, and while I do feel like i spent a lot of my high school years playing RS instead of doing school work, I didn't have a work ethic to begin with so if it wasn't RS it would have just been something else. I have still never put RS over my family or friends. I'm just not a social person so I play video games for most of my free time. It kinda bothers me, but only because I feel obligated to be bothered by it cause society tells me so.
