i was woundering who selects what players make the draft is it the afl or do the afl clubs say what players should make the draft. And if an afl club notice a player who dose not make the draft can they offer them a contract.
@nachospole1 if players are eligible they may nominate to be drafted, if they fit the age requirements. in order to be eligible to nominate you must have had at least one senior game at WAFL/reserves/COLTS level under the WA system. i'm not familiar what is required in other states, (try contacting an afl player agency buisness). No, you must sign players through either the national draft or rookie draft.
@GhosseinEagle oh ok i saw that he was picked up by essendon in 2001 or something also do you just have to play in you state league or rep your state because where i live we have qafl league and then we can play rep so i would play in darling downs league be selcted to rep darling downs and from their rep country kookaburras and then play for qld state scorpions sorry about the questions but im just woundering about people who live in reginal areas not near a state league team.
@nachospole1 sorry mate i have no idea, try contacting a sport management clinic they'll know all the answers and im sure will take the time to answer your questions, try: velocitysports (dot) com (dot) au

@mr123124 Funny you should ask. I actually chuckled when I heard it. It's called "An Honest Mistake" by The Bravery. :P

Melksham will be a steal at 10, cannot believe Port overlooked him. Trengove and Scully are absolute superstars though
