whoa! great video... i plan on getting some of these next time i go to my mates farm. he says he has seen them before so will be great to hunt them down. i dont tend to dry them, i usually put 5-10 shrooms per person, and boil in water until it reduces into a blackish liquid, i then add this to my cup of coffee or cup of tea. have you noticed when taking them in a group, everyone hit the high at the exact same time? :)

Oh, this video makes me miss mushroom hunting in Alabama. We used to know a field that was literally FULL of psilocybin mushrooms. It totally defied all the "rules" of mushroom hunting. They would grow anytime of the day. It could be 12 noon with no rain in weeks and and sun blaring and there would be goldtops, rocket caps, etc.. just waiting to be picked. Very potent also. You hear tales about people filling garbage bags with shrooms. This was one of those lucky fields. Great times. Great vid!

@RiotAngel13 no not really i learnt all i know from getting out there and hunting them down my first attempts during the mid 70 's in Tasmania was a frustrating 4 months riding my motorcycle into the countryside every time it rained looking for them . they are a different variety down there and grow in winter in cow pads and under pine trees , i think they like the acidity around pine trees maybe, will do another one for southerners this year if i get down there so explain the little guys

@RiotAngel13 no mate if you in northern rivers you have another 3 months to wait for proper season to kick in you might pick up the odd one here and there before December, you will find some serious quantities of mushrooms once the summer rains kick in and the warmer soil until then your really doing a lot of walking for a small return. after a while you will start to see the cycle there is a samll beel shape white mushroom that pops up in the turds about a month before the goldies watch

@iiiTOXSICKiii yeah you can dry them in the sun what would be better is under the roof of a tin shed on fly wire just under the tin a few inches on a frame you can knock up with wood or metal even on old shelf out of a fridge with shade cloth or fly wire will do it take them in at night so they don't absorb moisture from the night air and dry them till snap brittle. Then turn into powder witha blender store them in airtight glad bags ok

yes there is you can spread them out of a fly screen and put a blow heater under them but you have to be careful not to heat them up too much just a nice warm heat is fine but to tell you the truth a food dehydrator is the way to go and they are cheap you can get one on Ebay for around $70 and it will pay for itself many times over and you can use it for other foods as well a great way to go

i went to a ranch and picked some shrooms out of cow's turds, but they dont look any like this, the stem is a lot loger and the head kinda looks like a bell...theyre almost totally black... are those legitimately" trippy?

@RiotAngel13 no not really i learnt all i know from getting out there and hunting them down my first attempts during the mid 70 's in Tasmania was a frustrating 4 months riding my motorcycle into the countryside every time it rained looking for them . they are a different variety down there and grow in winter in cow pads and under pine trees , i think they like the acidity around pine trees maybe, will do another one for southerners this year if i get down there so explain the little guys

@RiotAngel13 mind you the first mushrooms i ever found were in the forest at the foot of the western tier It was a truly magic moment I had been looking for half an hour when walking down a logging track i glanced to my left and there in a clearing in the forest lit by a shaft of light from an opening in the winter clouds stood the most glorious mushroom growing out of a broken stump of a man fern . it is a memory that has lasted all these years and is still very clear in my mind go hunt son !

@RiotAngel13 no mate if you in northern rivers you have another 3 months to wait for proper season to kick in you might pick up the odd one here and there before December, you will find some serious quantities of mushrooms once the summer rains kick in and the warmer soil until then your really doing a lot of walking for a small return. after a while you will start to see the cycle there is a samll beel shape white mushroom that pops up in the turds about a month before the goldies watch

These are the exact same ones i used to pick back in the day but the farmer got pissed and now he has state troopers patrolling the field. But im curious, what would the psilocybin doseage be (in grams) for eating about 20 to 25 of those caps without drying them. I just wanna know how close i came to terence mckenna's heroic dose of 5 grams.

@mashj50 I'd have to agree with you on the whole elite enslaving the common ppl, however i didnt get this knowledge through shrooms. It was just educating myself and a gut feeling knowing something just isnt right in this world. As for shrooms, I understand they do serve a purpose in the awakening but i was young n dumb when i took them and it was nothing more then a free high. I'd like to take them again cuz now i'd be able to appreciate them much more.

@birdystyle420 no i agree with you it was the same for me i hag my realizations about the dysfunction in the world in the same way as you it was mushrooms that showed me the mystery of perception and other states that invite harmony. I Also pissed my early experiences with mushrooms up against the wall most times and only returned to them in my late 40's after decades of abstaining the experience was much more profound and insightful especially in a natural setting at night alone.

that's fine short term for just few shrooms but it doesn't solve the space problem and you ever noticed how long vege's last in the fridge ?? no by far the best way open to the average punter is drying them. remember water is your enemy . I wouldn't go anywhere near shrooms kept in the fridge to tell you the truth. they are still raw and need to be dried to remove and break down any toxins so don't bother with the fridge idea ok it's fraught with danger in my book

@mashj50 Do you know any other methods of preservation that doesint require me to buy a food dryer? I'm only 17 i aint gots no money for that type of stuff and i only want to do shrooms like once a month. But usually whenever it rains ill head over to the cow pastures and get them but i want to preserve them somehow. And what about the freezer? Anyways i figure if it keeps veges last for a while why not shrooms? It cant be that bad can it? What about letting them dry out in the sun? I'm in flori

@iiiTOXSICKiii yeah you can dry them in the sun what would be better is under the roof of a tin shed on fly wire just under the tin a few inches on a frame you can knock up with wood or metal even on old shelf out of a fridge with shade cloth or fly wire will do it take them in at night so they don't absorb moisture from the night air and dry them till snap brittle. Then turn into powder witha blender store them in airtight glad bags ok

@iiiTOXSICKiii Alright thanks, I had the idea of just laying them out on a baking tray and setting them out in the sun because the temperatures down here have been in the mid 90's. I thought of this because i went out looking for some like 2 days after it rained and unfortunately only found 3 dry wrinkly ones growin out of shit. So i started feeling it and it was very dry and ripped quite easily nut it wasint brittle but thought it would be in a few hours.

yes your absolutely right , and what do think is under the grass knucklehead ? old cow turds. and in fact these mushrooms don't grow in fresh turds they have to have been through their natural composting cycle first for the spores to geminate and feed. it's not a wise thing to make obviously ignorant statements as though your an authority, your not. I have been picking these mushrooms for over a decade so think i might know what they look like by now.

yes there is you can spread them out of a fly screen and put a blow heater under them but you have to be careful not to heat them up too much just a nice warm heat is fine but to tell you the truth a food dehydrator is the way to go and they are cheap you can get one on Ebay for around $70 and it will pay for itself many times over and you can use it for other foods as well a great way to go
