Very poor approach and terrible landing for sure. If you are going to show-off, then at least be much better on the controls and keep it safe at the same time. He hung there in the dead-man's curve so it's fortunate the engine didn't quit.
that was not a good landing...I would have gotten an F for that at Ft. Rucker. Trying to show off and let it settle before he shoud have and the 206 likes to enter dynamic rollover really easily. But I guess every "safe" landing is a good one.
Thats how I landed yesterday, I need some more practice lol But I only have 12.9 hours. Maybe he needed the toilet and just wanted to be back on the ground.
Yeh? Well good for you if you can land that well at 12.9hrs...this guy should be able to land better than that...that was a horrible landing! Always fly it until your collective is all the way down pedals nuetral...soft and softer. what are you flyin'?
It'll come J76. Im a mentor for the AOPA. If you have questions about aviation I'll be glad to try and help. Bell- 47's fly much like a JR without the power. R22 not the safest bird out-there...maybe a school with a Schwietzer or Bell would be a better choice. All the best. Drew/Commercial Heli Pilot
the jetranger is a sexy copter. yes, sexy!

I think the Bell 206 JetRanger is the most famous helicopter in the world with the Eurocopter EC 145

Nothing wrong with that landing.

Any landing that doesn't include a loud crunching sound is a good landing.

R22 would prefer to fly one of these jet rangers, but too expensive to begin with, maybe one day?

@helobelow You would recommend the Scweizer 300 over the R-22?

Might be a stupid comment but the Jetranger has written itself into the history books it's such a classic aircraft in helicopter aviation!

Seeing this just reminded me of The A-Team as they always had a Jet Ranger in that!
