@dannifaye3oh3 all wheel works to but it's more difficult to accomplish. people rwd because that how drifting was started in s13 rwd car from no other the 1st only drift king, rwd car produce tons of torque cause the wheel to spin and in a turn (oversteering, powerslide, drifting). the key to drifting is once you get sliding the direction you want remember to counter steer then wait until your almost out the corner then full throttle it.

@dannifaye3oh3 if you started abit slow in the turn but it's still sliding just give gentle throttle but mostly feel the road to determine how much throttle give it. you should work on these main forms first befor advancing first drift in a circle, then a figure 8 ( use cones to improve accuracy). form practice on a drift for novice are POWER OVER, E-BRAKE, PENDULUM, once you master these form you are aready for advance form which are SHIFT LOCK, BRAKE, and FEINT.....

Understeer = car cannot turn, weight of car is pushing AWAY from intended turn. I know because it was a major factor in my first accident.

Oversteer = cars back wheels cannot hold traction, caused by too much rear wheel spin, throwing car to INSIDE of intended turn.

As a general rule FWD cars cannot oversteer due to the fact the front tires cannot apply power and make the car turn, as they only have so much grip. RWD and most AWD cars can oversteer.
