anyone saying "THATS A CANTER!!!" is clearly too jaded with jealousy to appreciate how BEAUTIFUL this video is! 12 year olds with nothing better to do than be armchair riding instructors. Just absolutely a dream! Obviously a rider who's able to transport her dutch warmblood to the beach knows what the hell a canter is, its just a more common colloquialism to say "galloping on the beach." What a beautiful, fantastic video. Thank you for sharing.

Extended trot also isn't faster and is classed under trot because it's just to do with the movement if the front legs (ie the extension of them), can be any speed.

Hi, yes we go down to Normans Bay. Horses are allowed on the beach before 10 in the morning or after 6 pm in the evening. You need to make sure you have a long tide at least 7m and be careful of the ground. It's best to go towards Hasting and keep to the beach side. We went down on Thursday evening and had a fab time
