I have one of these and it is really awesome, i simply love it. It has a great sound for even blues, country, rock and metal. I highly recomend one of these ;P I have used it for 1 concert and it worked great ;P
Actually, he's playing the the hero mode presets, which sound a little bit weak for metal, i had the same doubt as you, but then I made my own settings and got the PERFECT metallica sound I was looking for. Anyways, remember this is a digital amp, and for playing on a band is not so good, even though it can rock pretty well. Anyways, if you are goign to play with a band, I would suggest an analog amp. Ive got this amp and it is great.
@ThomasTheGuitarPlaye they are both great amps. But you should buy the one that sounds the best for your guitar! so try them out both with your guitar :)
As a Marketing pro heres some respectful constructive critisim,
The demonstrater played very well and did a great job,
The narator voice was too low key in delivery and was mixed way back in the mix and hard to undertand, it got to the point where it was annoyingly faint ...
@Oconell22 I got the P65 and yes it's loud enough. I usually play on volume 2-3 and that's loud enough, but u can turn it up to 10. So I think u can play on a small concert :D
I've got Squier and Gibson Les Paul and i think Squier is not enough guitar for this amp. Only with Les Paul i can get full possibly and effect. Squier has sucks attachment
I saw these in the music store yesterday when they were unpacking them i had no idea what kind of amps it were but now i see that i will put it on wishlist as new practice amp :)
35 watts is definitely enough. I have a 40 W amp and with all the volume halfway it blows off my ears, in a way that you might not hear the drummer clearly . Only even at halfway, so 35 W is def enough.
actually i have a 35 watt also and it is NOT loud enough to play with a drummer, you may think it blows your ears out when its only half way up but when you put it next to a drummer it is not nearly loud enough, you'd need the 65 version
Good songs. Nice playing.
