  • Good old Corporate Walmart. I may do business with them, but I wouldn't work for them.

  • @mem11977 Why do business with them -- when you can just steal from walmart -- what are they going to do -- they cant do shit without getting fired

  • walmart treats its employees like shit, what else is new

  • @chucknorrisgawd lol i would know cause i use to work there

  • Hai2you2 u don't knw that he was going to shoot or not ppl are unpredictable if their was shots fired walmart employees tried to defend there lifes they still would be fired! Dumbass!

  • What is hard to understand???Good they fired them because the next people to try this may end up dead. He would have left the store.

  • Workers were rightly fired.

  • How come dykes always work in loss prevention? Anyways I've worked for Walmart and I would've never tried to stop a shoplifter because I don't want to risk my safety. Common sense would tell you that you're life is worth more than a $350 laptop. Walmart will can you for this type of thing because they don't want to pay out workers comp or insurance money if you're injured or killed on the job. It's clearly stated in their hiring policy. These workers violated and were rightly fired.

  • @TinkerBebe But how do you know if the man would have left so calmly after whipping out the gun...he could have grabbed anyone to use as a hostage/shield cause apparently he doesn't care about the law...he could have grabbed a young child...i think what these pple did was brave and worthy of a huge raise and promotion. If i were one of the customers with my young son there I would thank these nice pple

  • It's not a felony in some states!

  • they should have called police before the subject exited the store, and had police staged outside. That way when the guy walks out with the labtop which is a felony, he could either a get down or b get in a shoot out with the cops.... i think he would have took option A.

  • what a JOKE!!! This had NOTHING to do with saving merchandise..... it had EVERYTHING to do with disarming that suspect and possibly saving a few lives.

  • @StrengthFromAbove83

Walmart's policy is a reasonable one. You're usually better off just giving an armed robber what he wants and letting him leave. Playing hero only increases the possibility of someone getting killed, and a laptop just isn't worth that. But I think giving those employees a simple warning would've been sufficient, there's no reason their rules had to be enforced so rigidly. A little common sense should be in order here.

  • @StrengthFromAbove83 i completely agree! i hate that everyone is being so harsh to these hereos
