I just got the 2 lbs ball I ordered for my 11 y/0 and he just did the workout. Kicked his butt! He wants to do another set already! An adult might use a 4-6 lbs ball.
Jeff left the Mets organization last year (prior to 2009 season). Although the Metsies did not make it to playoffs in 2008the core players were in fince physical condition. Also, just knowing basic physical conditionaing exercises, you kniow that these exercises shown are proven.
Reyes is on DL, Beltran is on DL, Delgado is on the DL, Maine DL, MartinezF DL, Niese DL, Santana soon to be DL, Putz DL, Nieve DL.........the Mets need a new training staff, these methods obviously do not work.
understand the excerises that they are doing and the injures that everyone on the mets had. there is no correlation between the types of injuries these players had and the training being done in this video.
it liooks like a fancy medicine ball I would start off with a lower weight and increase over time just like lifting so you dont hurt yourself at first!
