  • I don't know if they updated the theme because the show moved to a new studio or if Merv just wanted an updated version for the new decade, which was just months away, but either way, great update. I always saw the 1992 theme as a watered down version of the theme, they should've just left it alone.

  • Okay, I give up. What's the answer at 0:15?

  • One (1) person (as of this comment, it might change) probably doesn't like smooth jazz music.

  • I LOVE THIS THEME!!

  • this theme was first used in July 1989 when Bob Goen took over as host of the show and on syndication in September 1989 with Pat Sajak. Also new buzzers and final puzzle countdown beeps.

  • Not only that, but a new Bankrupt whistle and "Vowels Only" beeps.

  • @ir10031981 This is often referred as the "Barker Studio" theme because from 1989-95, it was filed at CBS Television City Studio 33 (Bob Barker Studio).

  • That along with the 1984-1991 Jeopardy! theme is a killer combination.

  • CRAP!

  • (Contestants run up to podiums.)

    WHEEL... OF... FORTUNE!

Charlie:From our studios in Hollywood, it's America's most watched game show. (pause) The famous wheel is spinning your way with lots of cash and an assortment of fabulous and exciting prizes. Over (insert dollar amount) just waiting to be won tonight./Over (insert dollar amount) given away this week. (on Friday shows.) Now your host and hostess, Pat Sajak and Vanna White.

  • This song now After hearing it for about 10 times, I changed my mind. The 1992-1994 Was my 1st fav, but now it's 1989-1992 theme that 1st theme.

  • The picture at 1:44-46 reminds you of Chrissy and Jack off of Three's Company a little bit. R.I.P Jack
