@ffhk1 What's racist is the whole concept of "legacy students/preferences." Just because a family member went to the school you are applying to should not give you a legs up with the admissions office. This is more significant when you taking into account that 60 years ago Black, Latino, Asians, and other minorities were not even allowed to attend colleges/universities. If you are a legacy student then you're probably also white. I don't understand how people don't see that as racism???
