  • ur a funny guy!

  • Very nice. 2 Questions:

    -What desk is that?

-Did you do any cable management behind / under the desk?

  • If I had this set up dust would frustrate me so much. Constant cleaning would drive me insane.

  • @xJDKx Cleaning becomes really easy if you just stop caring about things being clean. The only things I ever bother to clean are my laundry and dishes. I do not dust. I do not vacuum. Sometimes I'll Windex the glass desks if I happen to be reorganizing the whole office, since that's when they're empty; but only then.

  • @tsilb Ha. I like it.

  • I don't know if anyone's asked, but what about the video cards that are on the wall near your displays? Just some fancy decor?

  • @GarrettBMXes Three PATA HDD controllers, an old Quadzilla 4.0 sound card, an unknown nVidia AGP card, an ATI Radeon 7200, an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, an ATI Radeon 9800 All in Wonder, and a LeadTek WinFast / generic unknown nVidia card.

  • Haha, you can wacht 7 different porn vids at the same time!!!

  • Geek overlord mode achieved.

  • have you thought about getting rid of all of those displays and replacing them with a projector. ::my dream set up:: along with the kinect integration and a "domed projection"

    paulbourke (dot) net/miscellaneous/domemirror/mirrordome/

  • @stereoarchitect I plan to do exactly that, just the moment they release a projector that does 7680x2160.

  • @tsilb your setup's pretty cool though. i need to buy a kinect. glad i dont have to buy an xbox to make it work.

  • @tsilb Either that or maybe we will see cheap OLEDs soon. I imagine a bent "foil" as optimum but separate 1080p screans with extremly narrow edges would also be nice. If the aging issues are solved the picture quality and energy saving of OLEDs is way ahead of everything we got today. BTW: laser projectors are perhaps the next big thing in projectors. greetings from germany

  • Wow, I hope I get to this level when i'm 30...

  • Interesting desk set up. Do the seams not annoy you? They'd get on my nerves no end lol. Great way to make a bigger space though, never thought of that!

  • why didn't you get a scanner with document feeder? Might make the process of digitising a little quicker. Or were price/resolution a factor?

  • @MrDBBudd Because this one was cheap and many of my paper documents are in bad condition. I don't trust them being fed into a machine like that. Many of them won't even stack anymore.

  • .. I love you. I just love you.

  • why do you need sleeping pills?

  • @nepalihercules

    Probably to sleep.

  • @nepalihercules Because I can neither sleep nor wake up correctly. Been that way for decades.

  • This is close to what my house would look like if I didn't move in with my girlfriend

  • @ubrsmcdm Now you know why I don't have one.

  • Damn, Now I want to know what's under the box.

  • Is that second keyboard an IBM Model M?

  • @the9thdude Dude, I wish. But it is an old Dell with clicky, responsive keys. It's like the Das Keyboard for 15 years ago.

  • @tsilb I understand that you already have some awesome keyboards, but in case you want the Model M, you can actually buy them new from a company called Unicomp. Even though it's a different company, they aquired the patent from Lexmark (who got it from IBM) and now manufacture the keyboards new on their website. Just search "unicomp" on a search engine.

  • "Delete paper" lol. I'm going to say that instead of "throwing away" paper for now on.
