@gamerdaddy Just read the science papaers, see LDNScience website. Many people do overreach because it offers hope to many, but the benefits are real.
@bwmbagus Yes, I am a living proof of those benefits. I'm just saying that we'd better slow down the enthusiasm, because we (patients and sick people) are unfortunately on our own on this issue, since the major labs show very little interest on Naltrexone (its patent has expired years ago).
What I mean is, let's try it, sure, but with care.
@gamerdaddy Are you aware that there is a huge difference between Naltrexone and Low Dose Naltrexone, i.e. LDN? And that's what we LDNers are taking. If you face a slow progression of your chronic illness (PPMS for me) and you find LDN which not only stops progression but even relieves symptoms and then you tell the world about it you are not overreacting about benefits, but hopefully giving somebody else the chance to find out about it also. Note the difference between LDN and Naltrexone.

hi jayne, keep up the good work, great video but i fear as no money to be earnt by the pharmaceuticals it wont be approved. my fifth week into ldn 3ml and improved fatique, depression and cognitive matters
also see film "Obama Deception" and understand why the government & the New World Order DO NOT want real health promoting drugs ! Also see Aspartame !
What a loving inspiration in our times! This is a great sign of hope for the human spirit when we are being so beleaguered by dark forces in the media. Those who do not know what full-blown MS is have never been in a car accident regularly. LDN simply stops the injury, insanity and torment.
This is one of our angels, and you can laugh all you want at the term. But we need all the angels we can get today! Let's prove we are truly alive and not afraid! Thank you dear sir and Jayne!
I have been sick for three years, apparently an immune dysfunction situation (many doctors many opinions no sure answers) LDN has done more to improve my condition than ANY thing else! If you have Fibromyalgia(my most common label) You need to try it.
Thanks Dr chris and LDNNow we are looking for support here in Ireland so please go to the ldndatabase and click on proposal. you can google ldndatabase . thanks
Since there is no incentives for pharmaceutical companies to fund trials, why not go to the people who would save billions if this drug is proven to work: the insurance companies in the U.S. The approved drugs for M.S. in America are very expensive.. which the bulk of which is paid for by insurance companies. Wouldn't they have a financial incentive to fund such a trial?
For all those wishing to acquire LDN, go to the website in the video and send us a request via the request form and we will assist. Also, if you are a UK citizen, do sign the petition too, available via the ldnnow website also.
Thank you Dr Chris for being a shephard not a sheep. Also Great work Jayne and Andrew for having the belief in LDN to start the petition. Surely everyone should be entitled to this safe, effective drug.
I've just had 8 months on LDN. I'm definitely not worse than before I started and have had many symptoms relieved as well, bladder, cramp, fatigue and more. With LDN I have the hope that I won't be a burden to society by becoming totally disabled, a feeling a lot of people have when they are hit by one of these illnesses that go downwards only. LDN can stop that and even improve some aspects, though not cure. But it's the next best thing to a cure - and it has no side effects.
What an excellent video. We must not be prevented from using this (for once!) amazing drug just because it won't bring vast profits to the pharnaceutical companies. Everyone should also sign the LDN petition on 10, Downing Street.
Dr Chris my man you are the greatest patient advocate of all time. Why cant all doctors think of the patient first like you and not their wallets or AMA association. Dr's are suppose to help people not promore big pharma. Doctors would rather a patient die than try something out of big pharma controls or hospitals rules. Congrats on a well done video. Power to the people by the people. That is what's called a grass roots organization. LDN will prevail. Big Pharma, well there one was a time!
I participated in the Stanford Phase II LDN for Fibromyalgia Clinical Trial and am now taking LDN regularly. I'm only on Day 22 post clinical trial and already I feel so much better. My pain level is way down and I feel healthier, happier, more resilient! Thank you Dr. Chris for making this very informative video and for supporting the funding of LDN trials in the UK.
Thanks Dr Chris Steel. LDN is helping to save my wife's life. Stage iv NSCLC and given 2 to 6 months 14 months ago. Now we are looking foreward to remission in a few months
Ive been taking ldn since April this year. It is dealing wonderfully with the rheumatoid arthritis which was my original reason for taking it. Since then Ive learned Ive also had a very small carcinoid tumour for a long time - and was delighted to learn that the ldn will be dealing with that too. Without ldn Id be on dreadful medications that cost a fortune and have horrible side effects. As it is I am able to get on with my life without pain and disability.
MS diagnosis - April 1997; after extensive research and trying every possibility to achieve a better quality of life, LDN has made a significant difference.
LAST NIGHT I TOOK THE 29TH CAPSULE!
I no longer feel fatigued; I no longer suffer from incontinence; I have not slept so well in years! My legs are stronger, my gait is sturdier and more secure.
I cannot remember how long it has been since I have felt this good; energetic; alive and active!
I've been taking liquid LDN for a year now. (M.S) I started on 1 ml and slowly introduced the drug to my system. I can now sleep through the night without bladder issues and my fatigue is vastly improved, and I feel good within myself.
Before I decided to try it I read a book by Mary Bradley Boyle called Up The Creek With a Paddle. It gives a huge insight into LDN and it's various uses including Parkinsons.
I Thank the LDN Research Trust for enabling me to get the LDN. :D
I've been on LDN for 2.5 years and it changed my life. I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) which was progressive and as such my future seemed very bleak. LDN stopped the progression and has greatly helped my symptoms, especially fatigue and muscle weakness.
The fact that LDN works for cancer does not mean that cancer is an autoimmune disease, that's bullshit. It works by being an immunostimulant and because many types of cancer have opioid receptors.
Cancer is not an autoimmune disease. What it is is a disease that for most of our lives is controlled by a healthy immune system. nly when tumours outgrow it do we get cancer.
One endorphin - met-5-enkephalin - which is boosted by LDN, has been shown to stop tumours growing and stop then growing blood vessels. Then the immune system can tackle the tumour, especially when strengthened and correcfted in function by the action of LDN.
I have been on LDN for 9 wks for lupus, ra & sjogrens. Truly it has given hope when I thought my options were dwindling. I'm off plaquenil, prednisone & methotrexate. I was able to delay cellcept & may never have to be on immunosuppresants again. LDN is not a miracle cure but stops progression of many many autoimmune diseases. It can provide symptomatic improvement for the lucky ones that have heard about this low-cost drug & done their research. Pls sign the petition p/ the wise Dr Chris. Lucca
I use LDN for cancer, am still here three and a half years after diagnosis after being told I would only last 6 - 12 months. It's a scandal that LDN is not brought in as a front line treatment, and that patients are not given choice!
What a deluded Govt we have, who only believe big pharma is the answer, thus pay millions to them, especially when LDN is so cheap.....
I've been on LDN for 6 weeks now and doing so very well (MS). My fatigue is 80% improved, pain to a minimum, improved bladder control/urgency, sleeping very well for the first time in years. I can think clearly, drive further most days instead of the occasional trip. To have relief from the disabling fatigue is fantastic. Thank you Dr Chris for putting your name to this.
Yes people..LDN works on all auto immune diseases including cancer...dont forget the alpha lipoic acid IV for cancer too. This is a drug that would put all big pharma out of business and pu the Dr's who been neglecting us for many years in their deserved wheel chairs. Lupus, Crohns, ms, mental illness. You name it. any auto immune disease. Did you all know cancer in an auto immune disease?
ldn is amazing medecine.i would like to remind people that copd is almost the third killer in our society and ldn can improves greatly your quality of life.also for crohn and AS it is an amazing treatment
The big tumour in the right lung is gone Thanks to steriotactic radiation.
The little tumour in the adrenal gland is gone thanks to LDN
the tumour in the brain is gone thanks to Dr Mascot and him removing it
And the bit you all should learn from.. The tumour in the left lung was 20mm at Christmas before LDN was 14mm in June thanks to nothing but LDN. Because of the brain tumour
This is a magnificent campaign - asking for nothing more than that people in need of help are helped AND at such minute cost. Will the government please, please, listen?
It's fantastic to find that Dr. Chris is promoting LDN, thank you Jayne and Andrew! Have used LDN for more than 2 years now for my Crohns. I have improved my health 100 %. To you who want to try LDN: go to your GP, give your GP reliable facts on LDN, most doctors want to know that the medication they prescribe won't create any problems for their patients. At yahoo you'll find support groups for autoimmune diseases and LDN. from Norway/Ingrid
Go Go Dr Chris, Finally a man who people recognize with such intellectual popularity and input with integrity and honesty. This is fabulous. I am off Tyabri and only on LDN. My girlfriend with lupus is of plaquenil and prednisone and has cut her cell cept from 1.5mg a day tp .750 a day and awaiting test will do more cutting gradually. What a miracle drug. LDN international awareness day is Sept 12th. I am writing a big sign on the back of my truck. Low Dose Naltrexone for all autoimmune diseases
I love it. Dr Chris started his campaigning career as the doctor who fought to prescribe nicotine patches on the NHS and was challenged in court for it so he has pedigree of fighting for therapies.
You mean LDN can help lupus as well? If so, can you pass on a link to further info on this. My mum has lupus and is on cellcept as well. Atm we're trying to wean her off statins and maintain her cholesterol levels (i suspect she may have statin induced lupus). She is diabetic as well.
Good job to the Brits on LDN awareness! Dr Chris sets an example that doctors in the US should follow! LDN got me out of an MS wheelchair 5.5 years ago.
Dr.Chris is a star! As are Jayne and Andrew who are tireless in getting the word out about LD. My husband has used LDN for his MS for nearly 5 years and has remained stable with no disease progression. It`s safe! It`s affordable! Support the cause and sign the petition and spread the word - people power!
This is a very good video which explains Low Dose Naltrexone, how it works and some of the diseases it works for. I'm using LDN for fibromyalgia and it is a wonderful drug. Great job Jayne!
Re LDNNow - We are a group of individuals dedicated to the mission to get LDN accepted in modern medicine, and trialled for the myriad of uses it shows benefit for. People are dying simply because they cannot get LDN, and that is because they have not been told about LDN. This really does need to be available as front line treatment. Thnk you Dr Chris for all your help and belief in LDN..
Thank you Dr.Chris, People seeing this video surely will listen and follow. All sign the petition and show our government the way forward regarding health and the NHS!
Excellent video, spreading the word is wonderful, I have had cancer over three years after being told I would only last about six months, we need trials but we also need to get LDN now as well, NICE etc should hang their heads in shame, Dr Chris, well, he can have a medal for speaking out amongst his own profession, and alerting the world right here!!!! I take LDN and would not be without it, I am one of the few who have a wonderful GP........
This is a great overview and endorsement for LDN. I would change the title though to something that includes the term LDN or the words Low Dose Naltrexone so it will come up on a search. As it is now it is being grouped with a Chris Brown video and an Eminem video, both of which have HQ in their titles. Just a suggestion.
This gentle, decent man is the most trusted doctor in the UK, and from this vid it's easy to see why.
UK residents, PLEASE take the two minutes to do as he suggests and sign the petition.
Everybody, PLEASE listen to what he's telling you about the effects of LDN on these diseases. Don't take his word for it, just Google "LDN naltrexone" and the name of your condition.
Do your own research. You CAN get LDN. It's legally available with a prescription and it only costs about $10 a month.
Comment on LDN -- It saved me from going under the knife. Went from my doctor saying about a nasty looking carcinoma - "You are going to get that removed aren't you" to (four - five months later on LDN) "We'll keep an eye on it to make sure that it is just scar tissue".
I am greatly encouraged by this support for LDN from such a well known and public celebrity. I thank both Jayne and Andrew for their initiative in gaining such support. I have treated many patients with LDN and Its success has been astonishing in most cases. Many more would benefit if it were available on the NHS. We must have more research, and the government should pursue this initiative in order to achieve this simple drug's full potential.
I have to commend Dr Chris for throwing his weight behind this low cost yet effective generic drug. If only all Drs could think this way. Let's not forget - first do no harm! Thank you!
This is such great news. Well done Dr Chris, hopefully now the movement for LDN on the NHS will gain unstoppable pace. We need this drug sanctioned by NICE, so come on government, help this drug save money and lives.
Sorry, but I have to point that Naltrexone is showing up as some sort of philosofal stone since it can be used to treat a million things.
I'm taking Naltrexone myself to treat Alcoholism, and it seems to be REALLY working.
Dude, or this is some sort of Histeria or this medicine is a real something!
Aren't people overreacting about the benefits of this drug?

Thnk you Dr Chris for all your help and belief in LDN..

Great overview and endorsement of LDN.
Thanks for changing the title to reflect Low Dose Naltrexone.
Good job, Jayne.
Keep up the good work.

Great video otherwise!
Well done Jayne!

Wow!

Low Dose Naltrexone is a medical revolution in the treatment of auto immune disorders and allergies. It can help prevent
flus and colds as well. The fact that it is out of patent is the ONLY factor holding this very effective immune modulator back from widespread use.
Good work Dr. Chris! Your support is helping many people.
And to all those working so diligently to spread the word
about LDN ~ it's so worth it knowing that even one person
is spared suffering.
