I like Tool, I was stoked to see Tool in this game. I wish they would've used some of their older stuff though like "AEnema" or "Sober".

I was only attracted to GHWT because of Tool and SOAD. I don't really like it now because when I saw some of the other songs in the game, I was all "What the fuck?" plus the storyline wasn't interesting. Hey, w/o Tool, I would've sold the game by now.

BTW, how can I get ION drums? My RB drum kit's all fucked up

I'm a huge Tool fan, but I didn't even know they had a big fan base until recently. I knew they were multiplatinum artists but most of the people I know don't know them.

I wish I could play drums well on rhythm games, I'm solid at guitar but I can't seem to coordinate my feet AND hands that well. Danny Carey is a very creative drummer.

And yeah, Petrucci is an amazing guitarist - WAY better than Adam Jones - but fast solos don't fit Tool's style.

That said, they still sound amazing elsewhere.

Yeah sure, Adam Jones doesn't play sweep picking solos or shred like Dimebag, but the thing about tool is that their songs are so complex. Strumming an open string and following it up with 2 hammer-ons to make a triplet might as well be fucking sweep picking if you're one of "those" Tool fans.

In reality, a trained chimp could play guitar in Tool. Does that mean Adam is a shit guitarist? NO! Minimalism and random pick scrapes and tremolo picking solos is perfect for Tool, but sadly that's just not good enough for "those" fans; to them Adam is better than John Petrucci.

First off, the drum sounds lag on this game, you hit the pad, it triggers about a half second later, so it's hard to do anything half-rhythmic anyway.

Second of all, I wasn't trying to make it sound pretty, if I wanted to play the fills well, I would go and play this song on my real kit, (Which I do quite frequently by the way.) You get more points for just spamming the pads, and I felt like getting more points.

Justin is an amazing bassist and Adam Jones is a pretty great guitarist. Besides, Tool would be nothing w/o Adam's music video talent and Justin's awesome bass lines to compliment the percussion. Listen to '46 And Two' if you doubt that.
