Maybe you heard 'Come to Sorrento" as Dean Martin's "Take Me in Your Arms"? You can find these performed on YouTube. They are great music. If you never heard them, you won't regret having a listen!
I asked if you take requests and suggested some Irish and Scottish songs. But how about Italian songs like "Come Back to Sorrento" and "Roman Guitar"? with Tony Mottollo's "Roman Guitar" music backing maybe? More suggestions: "Shanty Town", "Goodnight, Irene", and a more recent one, "Windmills of my Mind." My Dad used to sing Shanty Town and Goodnight Irene and play them on the ukulele when I was a kid. My Dad is still around and he'd like to hear them too. Love your music! Sue
@panzer6969 A good old song....I would have to search for the backing track and the lyrics...I'll try though',...If my mom was her'e she would sing it for you i think she knew every old song there was to sing Lol.....Colin.

Well done again Colin. I love the way make it sound so effortless. This song means so much to myself and my wife. We met the lovely Maureen O'Hara a few years back and i sang this song for her in county Cork Ireland. I also love to sing and I recently posted "A Song for Ireland" on youtube. If you like it then maybe i can forward the backing track to you. All the very best for Christmas and the new year. Mike Lacey

@OldTimeVoice Hi Colin, I am so sorry that i seem to have misled you. If you click on "teenyweenylightsout" below this message ,you will see me there. If you like what you hear then i will send you the backing track. Your singing is wonderful and easy on the ear. God bless and Merry christmas . Mike Lacey
Congratulations Colin, another great song. Love it, you are a Pro. I am going to give you a song to see if you can do it, maybe you already have, it is GRACE. I saw a great old timer in the Dublin Pub singing it, tears were rolling down my cheeks, but he was determined to finish the song, because it is true the Irish are losing their Irish culture!!
It is great that POPE BENEDICT XVI IS VISITING YOUR HOMELAND, my relatives want me to come, but too much going on here. KEEP ON SINGING COLIN
@GalwayRose1 Thank you again Rose a very nice comment......I have heard the song Grace.... I'll see if i can get it on a music backing track....No promises though OKAY........Colin.
Listened to you singing about a year ago, have just re-discovered you, must say i enjoy your singing, and its nice to hear songs with a message in them, I am now building up a collection of video's of the music i like, i hope you have no objection to me downloading some of your songs, if you prefer me not to, then i wont.
