Like you I learned to reach 300 with heel-toe, but am bringing singles up to 3 with, just regular technique, and also work on swivel. I here alot of ppl talk shit about doing doubles, but they dont know shit about style.

it's not the answer of my question. I know what is trigger. On "clean" (clear) I meant "too precisely". I am amazed of the rating (almost 5 stars) of this vid while there's a lot of doubts. That's why I dont like those kind of videos. Drumming is not all about speed only. I prefer nice, smooth, independent, technical play with one bass pedal (but yes I have double bass) than this "sport" with no soul. Its only my taste. If u like 290bpm double bass drumming its ok. But prove it u can handle it.

this is heel toe cuz its almost impossible to do 290 bpm using heel up tech. and this isnt 290 bpm u have to be consistant to do 290 bpm yeah its easy to do 290 bpm for 20 sec but lets c it for the whole vid.
Actually George maxes out about 280. Although I'd assume he can physically play 290 maybe, comfortably, and for a decent amount of time, he claims to only be able to play at 280. So although this video is impressive, it would be interesting to see what his endurance is at 290.
Can I just ask when or where you saw him do that? Because believe me I follow his material very closely as a drummer and I've never heard or seen anything about that.

@ChrisAdlerWannaBe you are an idiot, chris adler uses his own version of the heel toe technique for doing triplets for his songs, what is the point of doing fucking fast single strokes when you are just depending on the bounce of your pedal, it doesnt makes sense, when a drummer that plays single strokes with swivel technique goes up to 280, he depends from his trigger, not even kollias can play hard every stroke at that speed, with double strokes you can, check out brett's other videos

@tchildres Yo man, I play on axis, but I work on technique with all the pedals i can find. Like you I learned to reach 300 with heel-toe, but am bringing singles up to 3 with, just regular technique, and also work on swivel. I here alot of ppl talk shit about doing doubles, but they dont know shit about style.

Jan Axel Blomberg(Hellhammer) does at least that speed. The other drummer I know is Zbigniew Robert Promiński(Inferno). There are more though.

it's not the answer of my question. I know what is trigger. On "clean" (clear) I meant "too precisely". I am amazed of the rating (almost 5 stars) of this vid while there's a lot of doubts. That's why I dont like those kind of videos. Drumming is not all about speed only. I prefer nice, smooth, independent, technical play with one bass pedal (but yes I have double bass) than this "sport" with no soul. Its only my taste. If u like 290bpm double bass drumming its ok. But prove it u can handle it.

this is heel toe cuz its almost impossible to do 290 bpm using heel up tech. and this isnt 290 bpm u have to be consistant to do 290 bpm yeah its easy to do 290 bpm for 20 sec but lets c it for the whole vid.

Actually George maxes out about 280. Although I'd assume he can physically play 290 maybe, comfortably, and for a decent amount of time, he claims to only be able to play at 280. So although this video is impressive, it would be interesting to see what his endurance is at 290.

Damn dude, you played for Malevolent Creation? How long ago? That's so awesome, I'm really excited for Nile coming to Milwaukee, I've been playing for like a year and a half now and all of George's stuff and his DVD have been unbelievably helpful. he HAS to be using heel toe....and OFCROUSE hes using triggers, which allow u to hit softly but the sound still comes out at a fixed high volume..

yo guys, i think he uses his own heel toe technique. now any1 playin that fast would use 2 bass drums but i think this is what he does instead of using the traditional heel toe technique (right heel right toe left heel left toe) he does this, right heel left heel right toe left toe. anybody feel me on that?
