haha. i'm feeling you on this one. i have 4 g&p's - two aegs, two ggbr. they are the sexiest guns out of my collection. but i've had to replace about half of the internals on my woc challenge kit already due to breakage. my aeg's have developed a bit of wiggle because their aegs only use one receiver locking pin. but still - they're the sexiest! haha.
i own 3 g&ps and have never had any problems or complaints. I do alot of gun smithing and have never needed to change anything on any of my G&Ps other than the inner barrels. My CQBR has seen 50,000 rounds and still shoots as beautifully as the day I bought it. The dust cover thing is not even worth complaining about. All of my rails are in spec. I have measured them with calipers and everything was the same as my AR. Sounds like you need to have a chat with G&P.
@justinpinera I agree, the dust cover is not a big deal..but when we spend 400-700 on a replica..little details like these should not be missed. All companies should inspire to learn from real sword...or make you half assed replicas cheaper!

@NewDivineWind Depends on budget, under 200, echo 1 (have over 3000 rounds through my mp5sd6 and has 0 problem..skirmished 4 times with it). Under 300..G&G/Kwa...screw ICS, my piston broke after 2000 rounds. Under 400, Real Sword all the way. Under 500, TM recoil and shock..keep it stock.

@NewDivineWind LoL, that requires me to buy a contour camera or actually be a video recorder at a game. Never going to bring my expensive canon to a bb game.
@Singuy888 You could just buy a cheap 50 dollar camera for the time being and tarnish your viewers' eyes with standard definition. I think you would bring a lot more views in if you did gameplay. I really enjoy your Chairsofting but others may need some action in your videos. I am sure your Canon is BB resistant, just cover the camera in layers of saran wrap and you'll be fine.
@NewDivineWind I may take the canon to the next big North Vs. South game and do some recording. The problem is, I'm not shwell, he is the one at most of the games I go to and does the recording. I just want to go there and play:)
@Singuy888 Then get a cheap mountable camera or save up and get a Contour/Go Pro. Does Shwell have a YouTube channel and maybe if he doesn't you can ask him for some gameplay to put on your channel.
