  • Can you believe in the 1920's France actually liked Americans. Go figure.

  • @gotch09 They helped us win our independence from Great Britain and gave us the Statue of liberty as a token of the french government's friendship to us.

I traveled all over europe when I was stationed at Lakenheath Royal air force base in England and heard a lot of negative remarks but that was only from a few. These are usually people who have never been anywhere or met anyone in the U.S. lol

  • @ekocentric Yeah, I remember that France was a big ally weren't they? When Lindbergh landed in Paris, the Parisians just ent ape crap and stormed the filed. It must have been surreal for Lindbergh, the Parisians really took him to heart.

  • @gotch09 those were the days....lol

The first time that I went to Paris a friend of my pissed the tour guide off so much with his "Parasite" jokes (meaning Parisian) that the guide stopped speaking in english.

Imagine going on a museum tour and not understanding a word that is said? Lol.

  • @ekocentric Oh. By the way...other people love us when we bail them out or go to war for them...love makes strange bedfellows.
