When it comes to visual design, I would probably use a Maingear shift or iMac. And for Music production and photography, a Mac Book

@UrFavoriteWhiteboy the os won't effect it all that much the reason this computer is so fast is the SSD and the 16 gigs of RAM combined with Sandy Bridge processors which are top of the line

All nice but graphics card! Strarcraft2 struggles to run on my imac. My friends chepo 600£ pc can run it no problem. Is it that difficult to understand that we need some graphics power not only CPU. CPU upgrade doesnt bring any benefit if graphics card is crap.
My main beef with mac is price. I went to the Apple store and made an iMac with the same specs as this one. The price was $3,399. Then I went to Newegg. To make a PC from scratch with the same specs as this mac would cost $1,807.50 including Shipping and taxes. For someone like me that doesn't Chilla's Infinite money cheatcode, the choice is obvious.

Amazingly from a cold boot to actually working on windows 7 takes about 15 to 17 seconds... on that Windows i have installed CRISIS running at 2560x1440 with all options on full. Not even a single lag or slowing down.....If you want to run Windows buy a mac if you cant afford alienware

@Marveh I'm an architect and designer and I don't prefer a mac. That is all marketing man. Both operating systems can run the exact same software with the exception of AutoCAD, which isn't really optimized for Mac OS yet. I agree apple computers and the OS are much more aesthetically pleasing than the average windows pc. However, there are some nice computer cases out there and it is always cheaper to build your own. Macs are just much prettier PCs. Same parts, different shell.

Lol@Masterwitchdoctor. linux can get viruses too. It didn't matter what os you have, a virus simply comes in over a connection and is an .exe that tells your computer to perform certain commands. Anyone with a 5th grade education knows this. To say linux is free from viruses is to say it didn't run any commands at all. The only computer to not have viruses is a bricked one.

Both operating systems can run the exact same software with the exception of AutoCAD, which isn't really optimized for Mac OS yet. I agree apple computers and the OS are much more aesthetically pleasing than the average windows pc. However, there are some nice computer cases out there and it is always cheaper to build your own. Macs are just much prettier PCs. Same parts, different shell.

@TheMatpakk and you have how much experience with it? depending on what you use it for OSX is so much better for media production most profesional movies are editied in FCP which is exclusive to OSX windows has its pros as well but osx is much more stable and hardly gets viruses or crashes and if it does it is because they were most likely downloading illegal software from torrents

@BrendanVM i personally have windows, but almost all my friends have osx for some reason. none of them use it for editing 3d modelling or making movies and that stuff. i don't do that either therefore i don't like it. i play games and so on.

Lol@Masterwitchdoctor. linux can get viruses too. It didn't matter what os you have, a virus simply comes in over a connection and is an .exe that tells your computer to perform certain commands. Anyone with a 5th grade education knows this. To say linux is free from viruses is to say it didn't run any commands at all. The only computer to not have viruses is a bricked one.

Great video man, I know how you like doing mac/apple products and you do some pc based products. I was wondering if you would do video on the Sony®Vaio® F Series Laptop. The Specs are: Inte®l Core i7 proccessor, Windows®7 Home Premium, 8gb of memory, and 64bit. @Cyclonexman Macbook sells well because its your only choice for Mac OS on a notebook. where as Windows your choices are in the millions of notebook. Do you see my point? Apple sells Macs, where as Toshiba, Gateway, Asus, Acer etc. sell PC. PCs dominate the computer market.
plus the Macbook and PC notebooks are all the same on the inside. what really matters is the OS. and in terms of OS sells Windows kills Mac in sheer numbers of units sold.
