The United States has fought many wars on our own soil though none in the 20th century, Revolution, War of 1812, War against Mexico, Spanish American War, and the Civil war were all fought on U.S. soil. WW1 and WW2 are the only declared wars we have ever fought outside of U.S. all other wars have been considered "police actions." Your point still stands though.
Think what you could do for the well~being of the USA today; trillions spent on overseas conflicts, (killing your young soldiers to protect the multi-national oil shareholders profits), which could be spent developing alternative fuel sources such as sugar-cane etc. Export to China and be selective in what you import. In NJ: If you are registered as "unaffiliated," you MAY vote in the Repub. primary on June 5. At the poll, you'll be required to declare yourself a Republican. If you are a Dem and want to vote for Dr. Paul, you must change your affiliation no later than 4/11/12. The clerk @ the Ocean Cnty BofE affirmed that NJ accepts write-in votes (I was in NV/AZ for a while and had forgotten). In the General Election, you can vote/write in any candidate regardless of how you are registered. Ron Paul 2012!
