  • Thanks for posting this! We wrote an article about it and posted it on our website.

  • totally amazing, Dacher makes it easier for me to understand myself and interact better with others. Thank you for sharing your insights and gifts.

  • I listened to Keltner's emotion course on a podcast.

He doesn't look at all like I suspected!! lol

    He's a good prof.

  • I am glad to have my faith in the goodness of humanity explained not by religion, but in terms of the Darwinian selection of emotions that enabled groups of early mankind to better form strong bonds to help them raise vulnerable infants to maturity, nurture fragile elders who held wisdom, knowledge and experience, and pass these traits on to their descendants.

It is wonderful to see that emotions such as compassion, love, sympathy, awe, and gratitude can be demonstrated by today's technology.

  • Keltner was hands down my favorite professor at Cal. I'm excited to read his book!

  • Go listen to him in person, if not in person- by podcast and read the book!

  • Enjoyed the book thank you

  • Professor Keltner is co-editor of Greater Good magazine, a print and online quarterly, based at the University of California, Berkeley, that offers practical applications of positive psychology. Go to the magazine's web site to find exciting stories of compassion in action and links to other video presentations on the science of a meaningful life.

  • Dacher is going to be our teleseminar guest tomorrow, December 2nd! Great to see this video.
