I think those windows are specially protected from Polar bears and possibly the consistent freezing below 0 weather. Anyways that wasn't a laughing matter she could have easily gotten eaten.

nah, guiness record for biggest predator was a polar bear found weighing aprox 1 ton being about 4 meters long.
