  • Such elegance in contrast to a powerful scene.

  • beautiful in a terrifying way.

  • brilliant

  • war sucks

  • anyone knows where to download this music piece??

  • Yes, I do. The name of the track is "JSB - RPG" by Max Richter.

I can give you a link to download, write to me.

  • ARI FOLMAN merci

  • Any time you want to make a scene look more 'arty', just add classical music.

  • awestruck - such a contrast between the music and the visual imagery ! Bought Waltz with Bashir on DVD a couple of minutes ago. Lived in Israel - beautiful country with beautiful people - wish we all could live in peace. Lehitraot Israel

  • so beautiful. so very beautiful.

  • it's Bach - Harpsichord Concerto in F minor, BWV 1056 Largo

  • thought it's chopin?

  • i thought it's chopin?

  • the name of the song is arioso by bach

  • Isn't it Bach's 5th Harpsichord Concerto?

  • No trust me its "the swan" by Saint Seans I play it on my cello when Im stressed.

  • yes, it is: Harpsichord Concerto No. 5 in F minor (or for oboe or violin in G minor) BWV 1056: Largo

  • this song is scary man...in a good way

  • This clip skips the conclusion of the scene when the child soldier is killed in retalliation. The scene seems incomplete without this shot contrasting the formulaic feel and the resulting aesthetic ease that the slow waltz draws out of the scene. I'd love to see it added to give Ari Folman's film proper viewing treatment.

  • Bach: Keyboard Concerto no.5 in F minor BWV1056 - second movement: Largo.

  • It's a piece by Bach. I think it was called Concerto in F something, but I'm not sure.

    Help anyone?

  • This was my favourite scene in the film.

    What's the music?

  • Its the swan by Saint-Saëns.A very beautiful peice of which I love playing on my cello.

  • Very sad to imagine children growing in such conditions. Again and again Israel claim the Palestinian children are 'brainwashed'into attacking Israelis when in fact after seeing their parents, siblings killed, homes, schools and hospitals destroyed by Israel what else do they expect of them? I will always challenge any Israel supporter, with the roles reversed, tell me what they would do?

  • The idea of Iraqis, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians, or Palestinians nationalities is the most absurd part. before 1920s none of these entities existed. All of these countries were basically created by France and England using a ruler and a map. Before that there was the Ottoman empire. By the way, these are Shiite kids and not Palestinians. I know because I was there

  • hey wtf, hamas, we dident touch them, untill we did, their children were vbrainwashed dancing around with guns, so they are

  • @SquireDonCristobal Your argument sounds great in theory, but it's somewhat inconsistent in reality. The greatest terrorists come from wealthy and educated families with no greater tragedies than the common Israeli family, while most of the poor Palestinian population is nonviolent. To my opinion there's no excuse for using children in a war, and there's no excuse targeting civilians.

  • @arbelyoni - I have to dispute with you that the 'greatest terrorists' come from the wealthy - its probably true that the most well know are. What I find hard to accept is that todays suicide bombers can in any way be seen as different from those of France and Europe who gave their lives resisting those that occupied their countries. While I deplore the suicide bombs in Israel that kill so many innocents - Israel is a nation which even teaches its children how to use automatic weapons at school.

  • @SquireDonCristobal

Do you know what the "wailing wall" is?

It's the only remaining piece of the original Jewish Temple. It was destroyed by Palestine during their invasion of Israel. Israel has been under attack from Palestinian dogs since the old days. You reap what you sow.

The Temple and the land it sits on belong to the Israelites. They will get it back soon. Cry about it.

  • @WunderDoob You need to learn your own history - the Temple was destroyed by the Romans not the Palestinians.

Anyway I cant argue with someone who thinks bricks and stone are more important than lives.

  • @SquireDonCristobal

    1. I'm not Jewish.

    2. The Palestinians are squatting on land that historically belongs to Jews.

    3. They're jews. JEWS. You know how materialistic they are...

  • @WunderDoob Who's history would that be then ? Not by any chance the Jewish Bible - the most bloodthirstyt book ever written ?

You probably didnt notice but the land your 'squatting' on historically belongs to the native American tribes and of that there is NO DOUBT.

  • @SquireDonCristobal stop it will you, were not anti semites were anti zionists

  • @Spartan54232 So am I ??? I have no idea where you got the idea I was anti-semetic ? The Israel regime is the problem, not being Jewish.

  • @SquireDonCristobal I know just make the distinction between jew and semite or these ass clowns will attempt to defraud our truth about the existence of the terror state as racism when we both know that if Israel was a fucking taoist state we would be in the same position

  • very good video, speaks for itself

  • so relaxing, and the child represents an outburst against the tranquility that we live in. Great video.

  • Kid, good shot! 8-)

  • This is probabley one of the most beutiful yet artistic and violent scene in any fil i have ever seen:)

  • agreed

  • זה הומור שחור נגד המלחמה... הוא לא נראה לי גאה בהפצצות של ביירות
