I work at a grocery stoe and we just now started to check ID's for credit cards cuz of identity theft , and last night was the worst, I asked this man if I could see his ID and he went on a full on rampage, blaming me for our sandwiches making him sick and bitching about how he cant trust me for anything.. Why would I want another credit card that only works for 1 store when I ALREADY HAVE A FUCKING CREDIT CARD!!! 10% off 1 purchase is not worth all that online bullshit and credit hassle. My managers hates it, I hate it, we all hate it.

With hotels and plane tickets, the main reason they won't show you the price - or the name of the actual hotel or airline - without a commitment is because to reveal it before purchase could conceivably drive all listed prices down. The rate they're giving you is unpublished because they're only offering those rates for nights or flights where they happen to have too much space available, and they want to sell them without having to lower their prices permanently. It's odd, but understandable.
I agree with Foamy. Shopping online and returning items you don't want is really frustrating and annoying. That's why I stick with supermarkets and malls.
Early try to realize that there is no spoon... err, your shopping cart is just a virtual list on a server somewhere. It's not like your placing items on a conveyor belt. And as I know you like pissing people off, just remember as your racking up thousands of dollars in snack food staples, your eating up their server resources. Which for a small mom and pop shop could be their old 386 machine.
