Seu Jorge comes up with the lyrics to match Bowie's original English lyrics and at the same time fit it all in the melody. where a Brazilian Portuguese interpretation has already been done (like for Starman), he didn't need to do that. research b4 disliking...

TFF has been one of my favorites since I was 7 years old... but Seu Jorge made this Bowie masterpiece a part of hell, now. And he's a very good musician, AND actor! I don't dislike the guy, I just think this was a very huge load of shit that he's done. In portuguese (I'm brazilian) some of the words of the version don't even make sense... but, my opinion, though...

Yes, I'm guilty. I like one metallica song as well as one TFF song. RHCP's first few albums were pure art and no doubt better than fucking Shakira... So are Joe Hisaishi, Radiohead, Takagi Masakatsu or Ween.

This is a beautiful rendition. I have a casual interest in David Bowie's music, but must say I've really fallen for Seu Jorge's wonderful covers of his material. It's a shame though, I feel as if 'covers' is such a crude way to describe something so beautiful.
