  • Beautiful song. I love this.

  • A great song

  • Some old friends you never forget. Some you don't care about. And then there is a few you truly miss. And then, if you're extremely blessed, there is one...that you will never forget....and you hate the fact that they aren't in your life from day to day .... and you wish, wherever they are, they would just call and say "hi". Old Friends....through the laughter and tears, still Old Friends.

  • i miss all this music

  • I don't know where you are or even if you are still alive. I want you to know you will forever be my best friend. I made a promise to find you, and I will. But until that day comes, I want you to know I am thinking of you.

  • Seasons change and people too I'm so glad that I had you out there Through the rise and through the fall Even when I'd lost it all You cared like no one else Though I lost my way, You've been strong enough to stay Faithful to the end Long, lost friend So, good finding you again I'll be faithful to the end Long, lost friend

  • What a beautiful song. Forgot just how good Restless Heart and Larry Stewart's voice was. Can't seem to find these sorta songs on the radio nowadays. Like many things, music has taken a turn for the worst! Thank you for this post. Really brings back the memories of people AND pets who have passed through our lives while changing them for the better. Until we meet again...

  • To all my long lost friends. Not a day goes by that I don't miss you all. My your Creator be with each and every one of you!! To the 101st Airborne. Please take care.

  • This is a deeply PROFOUND song for my new wife and I. We dated in High School and were crazy about one another. I left for College out of state without telling her how I felt....we lost touch after a couple years and 18 yrs went by....we reconnected last year and all the feelings finally came out. we reunited and have been together since.....Marrying in November 2009.....FINALLY! I Love You Rushelle...my long lost friend

  • My Favorite RH song, I always get tears in my eyes when I hear it. This song has always reminded me of an old friend from high school. We lost touch after college and reconnected in a chance meeting Christmas Eve 1987. We stayed in touch until about '94. I always wondered where she had gotten to, and then I learned over the summer that she passed away back on 1/28/09. Rest in Peace Ellen, I'll always remember you.

  • @U686ST i am so sorry to hear about your loss but i know know that she is at a better place now

  • DAMN! i rlly want the intro tab to this

  • Tune guitar down to an open G, then capo the 2nd fret. Finally, take the lowest string and drop it to a low D. The harmonics are done at the 14th, 9th, and 7th frets, i believe.

  • This is my favorite RH song. I saw an interview of Larry Stewart some years back. I believe he said this was a song about his faith, how he lost it and how he regained it. Not sure though. Thanks for posting this video.

  • No comments. 20 years ago and still counting.

  • The Mullet kings! great band!

  • is this song about the band member they lost to skin cancer?

  • All five original members are currently still with the band. (Larry Stewart, Greg Jennings, John Dittrich, Paul Gregg & Dave Innis.) They've never had any other members.

They're currently busy on concert tour.

  • @MistyMoppens They did, actually. Verlon Thompson was Restless Heart's original singer before the band was signed to a recording contract.

  • I believe you are thinking of Van Stephenson from the group Black Hawk... He died of Melanoma, April 9th 2001 after this song came out(1990). However the members of Black Hawk did write songs that Restless Heart Recorded.

  • My favorite RH song.

  • I love this song. I think I'm gonna try to use this video to learn it on guitar. :) Thanks for posting it!!! :)

  • wow!!!!memories man.....

  • Dedicated to my first and loved friend and our family. Best wishes for all of them, and I hope you will be happy forever. Truly, B.C. "Taz".

  • I lost my best friend in 1984, she just vanished. I have searched for 20+ years. God always said never give up!!! We were reunited just this week. Now begins the long journey of rebuilding our friendship.

  • I lost my best friend about the time of 84 to Luekemia. This song has always reminded me of her. I know the theme of he song isnt the right kind of thing for what i am saying......but i sure do miss Casey!!!

  • Can't thank you enough for this video...you know great music when you hear it!

  • This song was beautiful then and remains one of my favorite RH songs.

  • This group has great harmonies. I really enjoyed this performance which i taped many years ago and moved it to a digital format when I bought a digital cam corder and a firewire card. Fantastic group, here is a one of their best pieces performed when they were in their prime. --- mtrott1
