@tokays : Here you can find inside photos of the guitaret:.vintageaudioberlin.de/vabgalerien/kurioses/guitaret/ . I think it´s build similar to an E-Piano with steel reeds and an electrostatic pickup system. Not easy to build at all , but good luck to you with this experiment.
So actually, you don't need a amp to record? Or did you connect the output of the amp to your mixer?
Thanks by the way for the advise on the price. Currently there is one for sale here for 550 Eur. A bid to expensive I think. It can be emulated on Logic Studio I suppose. But as you mentioned, it seems easy to play, and fun of course. Good review, for a starter I would say. As it is such a rare instrument, it would be nice to make a in depth video on it.
@Visser2800 : No, you don´t need an amp to record the guitaret, you just need an instrument input on your soundcard or interface. With this old instruments it´s not easy to fix a price, it´s always the law of supply and demand. Maybe you can emulate the sound with a virtual instrument, just like you can emulate a wurlitzer or rhodes sound, but it´s always a difference to play the real instrument. Ans in case of the guitaret, they "playing logic" is more the logic of a guitar player.
Nice (and funny 'cause sounds like music from erotic movies haha

Thats a pretty nice sounding instrument.
How did you record the sound? It's so "clean". I suspect it doesn't have a audio output, or does it? What did it cost you?
