The cool thing about the early radiohead records is to see how they are little by little leaving britpop behind. Pablo Honey could've been made by a very talented but indisntict band. Now, The Bends is already a work of art. Take "My Iron Lung" for example. It is completely different from anything you've ever heard. And yet it is based on the same contrast between exploding noise-like parts and cooled- down cyclal guitar parts on the high register, just like "You".
