I like how there was an argument on here that started out about cars, then transcended into bashing: Obama, Women, Foreign car manufacturers and then ultimately, each other. I really enjoy the car commericals of the 50's, 60's and early 70's. The sent a message about carrying about others, enjoying life with family and friends. Today, at least what I take out of the car commericals is about your ego, selfish behavior, attitude. Not a valuable moral character to teach our children. So, when I see these new cars, that is the first impression I get which is linked to the commercial. I can afford a new car, but my heart is with the classics of yesterday. Be blessed.

think of it this way, you compare w/ a well built foreign car, put a well built foreign car in your mind. Then compare a well built american car of similar price.

My example is a pacifica. Compare a white pacifica to a white routan and you'd notice the routan looks much better, but does a black routan look as good or aggressive as a black pacifica?
