@emd645e3c So if you see a grain train heading from Bendigo through eaglehawk at about 12:30 am it will return the next night? I saw a grain train today heading for Bendigo at about 6:30 pm will it return tomorrow with emptys?

@DIRTACTIONSAM09 The PN ones, usually yes, the ELZ ones are different. They go out around 02 00, and get back to Bendigo around 19 00. The crewing is differrent, so they run to different times.

@DIRTACTIONSAM09 00 30 means 12 30 am. It gets to Piangil early hours, loads through the day, then leaves there later at night, crosses the pass at Swan Hill around 23 00, then returns to Bendigo, arriving back here around 02 00.

Just as rostered? I live in eaglehawk and I'm trying to catch some freight train action but I never get to it in time, how do you know when the freight trains are coming through?

@DIRTACTIONSAM09 The El Zorro one is a bit rare up these parts. The PN ones run semi regularly. At the moment they are running through the night, about midnight'ish away from Bendigo, and returning around 02 00 the following day on the up. How do I know about them? People check for me and let me know if theres going to be daylight running usually, though some of the PN ones do slip through the cracks. I also hear some on the scanner at times.

@wendyt234 Nah, just as rostered. It did a trip a couple of days before, and prior to that it had been quite some time since it was up this way.

@bozojim I think it may have. It was supposed to run straight through Bendigo, but I was told it had "loco issues" and instead it went into the yard for a bit.

The G class could do with a bit of a gussy up. I realise that VR blue is out of the question but it needs something. Its taking away from the rolling museum. LOL
