And the sti pits an 8:06. On one of the most intricate tracks in the world the zr1 wins being a rwd car. Now rallying.... off road where you know... where rally cars rally race its a different story. I doubt someone would take their 108K zr1 off road though

The currently best handling japanese car is the Nissan GTR V-spec and GTR nismo, and the ZR1 beats them both not only on the track, but in straight line drag. the Nissan GTR outhandles the corvette ZR1 bby .02 g's on the skidplate with the ZR1 coming in at 1.10 g's and the GTR at 1.12 g's. The difference between their lateral acceleration is minimal and the corvette has the muscle to get away in the straights.

    but the zr1 is only a two seater and most of the panels are made of carbon fiber...the skyline on the other hand is a 4 seater and the panels are made from metal and it still managed to pull a 7:26.7 and the zr1 a 7:26.4 even though the GTR has major under steer on the high speed corners...

  • im pretty sure everyone would agree that the gsr would be better, that second cam profile gives u the best of both worlds, not to mention the gsr has oil squirters among other things that help it last a good long time...the ls is just like any other 4 cylinder on the road but if u rockin the b18c or any vtec model u will not be dissapointed and win loose or draw always know your running the best honda has to offer when you pull up next to someone

  • i thought only the type r had oil squirters?.. eather way there not recomended for high hp turbo cars. most block builders such as dart will actaully block them off. they are good for na and low hp track cars though.

  • id go with gsr i was going to do a ls-vtec but i didnt think it was worth it. buy some ls for 2500 and the conversion would cost about 1600 so thats 4100 when i can get a gsr for 3500obo... then put that 600-900 bucks into some vales and springs and a stage 2 cam =]]

  • just wondering how much power you made with the 57 trim? oh and btw the 57 trim is not a small turbo by any means. a 16g is a small turbo...a gt28rs is a relatively small turbo...I made 302whp on a dynapak(usually read low!) @ 8.9psi on a garret t3/t04e 57 trim. with a 3" DP and a ebay 2.5" catback :) ...stock everything,.

  • i dont remember the exact numbers cause this was my first setup but im sure they were close to 300whp ..and i have been through so many setups since then but a 57 is small for around here, i had the smallest turbo of all of me and my friends ...thats why i wrote small turbo, now im rockin the" 60-1 to4s a/r70" tuned by myself,,,,im dynoing soon but i can tell you that the 60-1 feeds my engine like a fat bastard

  • Great car (GS-R) one of the best I have ever owned. Not many cars that have a 8100rpm redline and ability to get over 30 mpg. Mine was a 95, just some bolt ons I ran a 14.2 @ 95mph. I liked these better then the RSX

  • Afi, peakboost, synapse and full-race makes B series turbokits. As for not blowing up your engine, it's all on the tuner.
