@checktofolder he had 12k and called less than 10% of his stack, HU, vs. a possible low pair or maybe AK/AQ/KQ so he figures his J or T are very much live. And he was right. And he got all the chips in the middle a 10:1 favorite. All went according to plan.

Very rarely Mikey would be facing a pair of TT+ , or AJ/KJ/QJ ... so his call was not "terrible" at all.

What would have been bad is if Mike had JJ and flopped a J set and Allen called with his 99 and hit a 9 on the turn and 9 on the river. That is the over the top awful beat. That said, what's REALLY amazing is how all these poker producers can't seem to adjust odds and percentages accordingly when Matusow's in a pot. 91% for the rest of us is like 57% with Mikey.  XD

mike u played the hand bad. yes u had the button but u only had 6500 and called 1550 b4 the flop. leaving u 5k. theres not a lot of flop that allen isnt going to c bet, so after he bets and u go allin he has to call, with only one over card yes its easy call. u got ur money in good tho, but u have to revisit the hands u played that put u in that position in the first place

Mike Matusow's made several deep runs in the World Series of Poker as of recently (especially with these big fields)...he's an established pro, has millions of dollars in winnings, but yea Mike..you are the unluckiest guy in poker.
