you are definately on the right track with the catamaran hull design.
My only question is, whats with the giant engines? Its a camper, whats your hurry? If you dont want to BE on the water, why do you have a boat?
Spend sometime on a sailboat, going 8 or 10 kts, life IS the journey, not a mad race to the end!
