Learning English from JenniferESL's videos is so much more better.

Google for "jenniferesl" and get started at her website or her Youtube channel, you'll find many great lessons: real conversations, vocabulary lessons, grammar tips, American slang lessons, pronunciation lessons, ect. All are in high resolution!!!

@shakeelhabibdad I believe that depending on the context there is no problem if you say 'our name' . Jason Mraz sings 'our name is our virtue' in 'I´m yours' for instance.

@shakeelhabibdad as a native english speaker i would agree, likewise 'your name' should be 'your names'

however her example seemed to be of a married couple, in which case 'our name' would be appropriate, as a husband and wife shared ONE name (usually/sometimes). 'our names' would be appropriate for two or more people either regarding their first names, or surnames of individuals not related (thus not sharing a last name, in some cases). i hope this is a bit more helpful ;-)

@epicandamazin The first 'your' was for your name the second your was for your names. 'Your' can be used to talk to either one person (singular) or two or more people (plural). As she was making two groups 'singular' and 'plural' she wrote down 'your' twice.
