I had the iud and it was bad i would get 20 days off really heavy periods i gain so much weight sometimes i couldn't even sit down because i had so much pain iam scared to get it and have my periods mess up again i just lost 60 pounds and don't want to gain any what do u girls recommend ....help plz ...

@DalyEllen They say the odds are about 1 in 4 women who won't have a period. I guess I got lucky, I got it put in on the second day of my period (I was on Yaz, so the second placebo pill), and I had a period for one more day and then it stopped. I've been on it for 3 months now, with no period and minimal side effects.

I'm thinking about getting this or the depo but I'm not sure wich is better ..side effect wise and having my period I really dnt mind but I have really bad cramps soo just dnt want b worse or my period to b longer

i just got mine last weeks ago... i was reading up on it and watchin videos.... i thought it was goin 2 hurt soo bad.. but actually it dont... my arm is jus has a small bruise.. and my boyfriend thinks its creepy lol

iv had mine for about a year and a half now it really dont hurt as much as u think it would just dont look :)

and the side effects u get can clear up and u soon feel normal again tbh i didnt really get anyside effects :P

@cheeringislife1081 no, they numb you first. You do not feel a thing except a little sting when they numb you. (This is coming from a 15 year old drama queen :) )

I have tried many brith controls, and Implanon is the only one that have worked for me. I don't have to deal with periods or the menstrual pain anymore and I don't have to try remember taking a pill every single day. I really recommend everyone to get Implanon, and if you have any questions - just talk to me!

getting my implant removed after just over a year of having it. messed up my body bad. Heandaches, cramps, nausea, and bleed a lot or not forever. Made my breasts rock solid and hurt i couldnt even walk! And on top of that went from a size 1 to 7 thats 20lbs.

I have the implant and nothing has worked better. you dont need to remember anything you are always protected from becoming pregnant. 100% recomend
