Theres nothing wrong with experimenting in that way. Where was the tests showing that the drug war would be better? They just did it, with no data showing they could accomplish what they set out to do.

History shows that prohibition doesnt work, alcohol wasnt the first.

People need to learn from the mistakes of others, regulate it, get it out of the hands of criminals and back into pharmacys and the hands of licensed physicians.

If Cannabis was legal now it would be Less available then it is now. For me in Canada on a Sunday morning it's a Lot harder to find a beer then it is to find a joint.

Who are you to judge your fellow man like you do? The idea here is that everyone is already using drugs, legalizing would make responsible use of drugs more viable. It would be regulated, so you know what you are getting. In the black market of drugs, you can never be sure of anything. Legalize, and end this black market, and all bad things that come with it.

It's not judgement. It's an observation. There are ALOT of stupid people in this world. Anyone with access to the world outside of their home can see that. Not everyone is using drugs. I'm not 100% sure legalization would make drug use more responsible. Who would regulate it? The government that can barely keep a fucking handle on things now? Explain to me how it would do that. There would still be drug dealing, it just wouldn't be illegal. In this world you can never be sure of anything.

The consumers would regulate it! No one would buy drugs that were tainted or dangerous if there were other dealers that would sell you safer drugs. Thousands of people went blind from drinking bad bathtub gin during prohibition.

No one goes blind from drinking bad booze now. Unless they make it. But the cost of making your own booze is more than the benefit from it. Very few people make their own.

The government would regulate it. Easily funded by the tax revenues. 2 billion just on MJ!!!
